It can, of course process film using inversion-style agitation as well.

To ensure a long shelf life, it is supplied in two parts; users mix the concentrates with water to make a single 6L working solution. In other words, it's the best B&W film developer that JOBO has marketed in its 100 years of history.
As a perfect complement to the Alpha B&W Film Developer, JOBO has also introduced the JOBO Alpha Neutral Fixer. Based on natrium thiosulfate, when used in conjunction with the Alpha B&W Film Developer, it allows the entire process to take place in an alkaline to neutral pH environment, the most gentle and environmentally friendly way of processing the organic film emulsion.
